I’m a Colorado Wedding & Portrait Photographer with a full service photography business.
I'm passionate about God, family, photography, traveling, music (I play the piano, guitar & I sing!), football (GO HAWKS!), baseball (GO DODGERS!), reading, espresso, chai tea, adoption & loving all people especially the marginalized. I am outgoing to my core and thrive in the presence of other people. You'll find I'm quite friendly, fun and super easy to talk and relate to. My husband and I have 5 rambunctious kiddos that keep us on our toes for sure! When I am not photographing people, I am running and working our local coffee shop called houseofJs.coffee. We also spend a lot of time on soccer and baseball fields as nearly all our kids are in year round sports.
Photography is my passion and ignites my spirit! Weddings fill me with complete, utter joy. Love is the greatest thing in existence! Capturing love on the most beautiful day of your life is what fills my spirit with excitement. I want to bring each couples story and journey alive through my lens so that you can keep your memories of this amazing day forever etched in your mind.
When you hire me, I will do everything to capture your authenticity, personality and raw emotions up close and personal. During family sessions, I’m known to be quite silly and funny around kids so don’t be surprised if you hear me use terms like “fart, booger or burp”! I’ll do anything for genuine laughter!
My approach to taking pictures is that I want to document real and organic interactions among couples and family members and so you’ll find that I take a more modern approach to my sessions and I don’t do a lot of perfectly posed images. My style of documentation is contemporary and comprised of more un-posed, relaxed, candid and comfortable moments. What can you expect from me regarding my editing style? My style is clean, crisp, colorful and full of contrast… timeless...I do love the occasional black and white photo as well!
After your session is complete, you will receive your online gallery for you to enjoy and share with friends and family. I will also help and guide you with purchasing prints, albums, and wall art that you will be able to enjoy every single day!
